China’s Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated on month 8 day 15 of China’s lunar calendar (in September or October). Mid-Autumn Festival 2016 is on September 15. To many Chinese, it is still the second most important festival after Chinese New Year and it means family reunion and peace. The festival is celebrated when the moon is believed to be the biggest and fullest. To us, a full moon is a symbol of prosperity, happiness, and family reunion.
Yesterday, staffs in Wein also celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival by Mooncake gambling (we called Boing bing). The "Bo Bing" game requires are six dice and a china bowl. Just throw the dice into the bowl - and the different pips you get stand for different ranks of awards you will win.
PS: Wein will shut down to have Mid-Autumn Festival holiday from 15 to 17 September, 2016 and will be back to work on 18 June, 2016. Please be well noted and thank you for your attention.
